February is the month we all come together to serve. For over 20 years, Chapin students have been preparing and serving food at the
Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen in Trenton. Every student is involved. From decorating 750 lunch bags to be filled with nutritious lunches to delivering homemade mac and cheese to be served on a Saturday, the entire community takes part. This is only one of many
community service projects in which Chapin students participate.
It is also a great month for field trips. Pre-K is visiting a dentist, 1st grade goes to an aquarium, 4th grade goes to the State House and Old Barracks and 8th graders see "Romeo and Juliet."
