Emergency Closings |
|
|
During bad weather or an emergency situation,
Chapin will either CLOSE or have a
TWO-HOUR DELAY, opening at 10:00 am.
Because so many of our students travel considerable distances, safety, road
conditions and the availability of busing are the primary factors in our
decision. We consult with other independent and public schools and review
weather forecasts in an effort to make a decision as early as possible so
parents can make appropriate arrangements. If you are concerned about the
weather, refer to the following list
of broadcasters for information. Please do NOT call the school for this
information. Once children have arrived, we will not close
school early, however, sports, activities and the After School Program may be
cancelled.
