CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS
Parents who are uncomfortable with
changing weather patterns in the middle of the day may pick up their children
early by calling first and coming to the Front Office. |
PUBLIC SCHOOL TRANSPORTION
If your public school’s closing or delayed
opening times differ from Chapin’s, then you are responsible for coordinating
your child’s transportation to and from school.
• If your public school is
closed and Chapin is open, you need to bring your child to school.
• If your public school has a
delayed opening and Chapin does not, you also need to bring your child to
school.
• If your public school has a
one-hour delayed opening, and Chapin has a regular two-hour delayed opening, your
child CAN ride the bus as someone will be at the school to supervise.
If your child’s bus arrives early for pick-up due to extreme
weather conditions, we will not release
your child unless we have reached you or your emergency contact to verify
transportation arrangements. If we cannot contact you, your child will be
held at school until you arrive.
