Chapin School is an exceedingly special place!  In my 37 years in public and independent school education, I have never seen a school that so magically combines the characteristics of a first-rate education to create such an engaging learning environment. I have never seen a school that balances so beautifully the twin goals of teaching each student how to be a good student and a good person. When you visit Chapin, you will see a school that is firmly committed to remaining a small school with small classes.  You will understand why we believe so fervently that our students can best be served in a Pre-K through grade 8 setting, without the distractions and complications of a high school.  You will see a faculty that is remarkably talented, committed and caring.
