Katie McCarthy, Class of 2013

At Chapin, Katie was consistently on the Academic and Effort Honor Rolls, and her interests included debate, crocheting, piano and choral performance, basketball, and gymnastics.
The Hun School of Princeton awarded Katie the Donaldson Scholarship. The Donaldson Scholarship is a merit-based award that provides full tuition for the recipient to attend grade nine to twelve at The Hun School of Princeton.
“We are thrilled that The Hun School has recognized Katie’s academic prowess and her deep involvement in the life of the school. She is an exemplary student and a person of high moral fiber,” said Mr. Richard Johnson, Headmaster of Chapin School.
“Katie’s academic success, diverse interests, strong moral character, and warm personality all contributed to her selection for the prestigious academic scholarship. She is a wonderful young lady, who we are very fortunate to welcome to The Hun School,” said Director of Admission and Financial Aid Steve Bristol.
