Our Campus

A Space For Wonder

Situated a short drive from Albert Einstein's old home and across the road from Princeton Seminary's ecology center, Chapin's 13-acre campus affords each child a place to grow. Our outdoor learning spaces include two outdoor playgrounds, two sports and athletics fields, and our most recent development, a beach volleyball court gifted by the class of 2025.

Our campus was formerly farmland, and we still tend our own garden where students enjoy lessons and families volunteer to help cultivate the produce used in our school kitchen. Students eat together in our dining halls and can choose from a rotating menu of seasonally inspired dishes, prepared by our in-house chefs.

What was once the farmhouse, built in c.1750, is the site of our administrative offices. Beyond that, a $13.2 million building project renovated and added to our facilities. Each age group enjoys its own purpose-built environment. Our youngest students meet in a wing of our lower school dedicated to exploring the world through active, play-based learning. In our upper school buildings, middle school students have dedicated science and technology labs, as well as their own meeting and recreation spaces.

Every part of our school grounds is dedicated to creating an environment where children and their families can belong and flourish.
