Celebrating Chapin's 42nd Runathon!
Chapin School is excited to host its Annual Runathon to help raise $27,000 for Chapin School and Good Grief, a non-profit organization providing unlimited and free support for families after the death of a mother, father, sister, or brother through peer support programs, education, and advocacy.
Why 27? This year, Chapin is honoring the Wilby Family’s 27 consecutive years of having a student at the school. Imagine since 1991, the Wilby family has been driving to Chapin every school day. That is 27 years of the first day of school, 27 Curriculum Fairs, and now, 27 Runathons.
Two Runathon Challenges!
172 current students. 2 laps each. Saturday. = Mrs. Pasteris sleeps on the roof.
The Chapin community completes 2,018 miles = $10,000 donated to the Runathon from 2 anonymous donors in honor of the Wilby Family.
