8th Grade Spotlight: Atishay Jain
What is your favorite memory from your time at Chapin?
My time at Chapin has truly been a life-changing experience. I have made countless memories and lifelong friendships.
My favorite memory from my time at Chapin was walking through the Red Doors for the first time in seventh grade. I was at first nervous and didn’t know what to expect. However, it was amazing how I was welcomed into the community and immediately made new friends.
I have had so many unforgettable memories to be cherished.
What are you most grateful for at Chapin?
At Chapin, I am truly grateful for having amazing teachers guiding and supporting us along the way. Also, I am most grateful for all the extracurricular opportunities Chapin has to offer.
What advice do you have for other Chapin students as they continue?
“Strive for excellence, not perfection.” This motto has stuck with me since day one, and it is the process and hard work you put into a task that counts the most. Attempting new tasks can be difficult, however, you should never be afraid of trying new things and following your passions. Soon you will be off to high school and college, so cherish every moment you have with one another and always be thankful for who you are and what you have.
