Chapin School's 44th Runathon
Saturday, May 9, 2020
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Chapin's 44th Annual Runathon is happening! With quarantine guidelines, we had go get creative, so it will be a virtual Runathon! The goals remain the same, though: community service and community bonding.
How does Runathon work?
On Saturday, May 9, during the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., students, families, alumni, parents of alumni, current and former faculty and staff can walk, run, bike ride, or use a treadmill and keep track of your mileage. You can participate in your home, in your yard, or in your neighborhood (as long as you keep proper social distance), Take part in the Runathon that day for as much or as little time as you can.
Money raised will help support the Chapin Fund and Chapin's community service initiative, Loaves & Fishes. For nearly 20 years, Chapin School has prepared and served 500 plus meals every year to patrons of St. Mary's Cathedral in Trenton. It takes a considerable amount of time and dedication not only on the day of serving, but also throughout the year planning and involving students and families in this deeply-rooted Chain tradition of community service. Your contribution will really help!
Although it would be nice, you don't have to contribute, but we do ask you to register so we know who is participating. Just fill out the online form. Easy!
